Mark’s current law practice focuses primarily on helping the victims of injury, both work-related and otherwise. Mark spent many years working for a local firm that provides legal services for insurance companies and employers. Over time, he began performing more and more work for the victims of injury.
Realizing his true calling, Mark set out to level the playing field and provide legal representation to the individual person, not the multimillion-dollar insurance companies that can intimidate and unfairly control the process.

Strong Ties to West Des Moines
Mark was born in Ottumwa on October 30, 1973, and grew up in Des Moines, attending Dowling Catholic in West Des Moines. He attended Creighton University and graduated in 1997.
Mark enrolled at Drake University Law School in 1998 and then graduated with his Doctor of Jurisprudence, with honors, in 2001. After graduating from law school, Mark clerked for judges at the Polk County District Court and Iowa Court of Appeals.
Mark is a lifelong resident of central Iowa. He is married to Stacey, and they have two children that help keep life busy. He enjoys the outdoors, working with his hands, and supporting charitable causes including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
